Max graduated from Pomona College, a highly selective liberal arts college located in Claremont, California. While there, he was the recipient of a National Merit Scholarship and was a Pomona Scholar. After graduating with a bachelaurette degree in mathematics and economics, he went on earn his Juris Doctorate from the University of Arizona where was the recipient of a Regent’s Scholarship for high academic achievement. Max is a member of the American Bar Association, American Immigration Lawyers Association, Federal Bar Association and Washington State Bar Association.
While some attorneys never see the inside of court room in 30 years of practice, Max has significant court room experience in representing landlord’s for eviction proceedings, in immigration deportation proceedings, immigration appeals, and in other civil matters. Max advocates zealously for his clients and looks to protect their best interests over his own.
Max devotes a significant amount of time to pro-bono volunteer work in helping the indigent obtain justice and received a commendation from the Washington State Bar Association for his efforts. Max volunteers at legal clinics to provide legal advice to those unable to afford access to the legal help they need. He has taken cases representing immigrants before the immigration court in deportation proceedings.
In his spare time, Max enjoys travel and photography; interests that he combines to good effect. Many of the photos on this website were taken by Max.
